Making the set - Part 3 - Sky and dunes

For the background we used a light blue fabric sheet stretched on the wall. In front of it we threaded lumps of acrylic fibers on a transparent nylon thread, tied to tripods from both sides. We used different amount of clouds according to the weather on each scene.

The dunes were made from real sand milled to thinner dust. For the plants we used linen wool, painted with green spray paint and shaped as bushes. We also used some real small plants that we found in the park. Here is the making of video:

Making the sea

First I painted a wooden board with blue colors in several layers, using acrylic paint. When it was dry I covered it with hair jell in a thick layer. The shore area was covered with sand milled to thinner dust.
